Chinese students are waiting for chance to study in a high quality educational environment created by the University of Missouri system.
Wrap:The University of Missouri-St. Louis and the Missouri University of Science and Technology annouced Wednesday their preparing to build a new campus and offer a variety of courses in Sichuan Province in China.
Director of Communications at Missouri S&T, Andrew Careaga says their campus will work with Tian Fu College in China to set up curriculum to assure its quality.
|Description: We are providing Chinese students the opportunity to attain the same quality of education based on our model.|
Careaga also says the proposed new campus will be an English-language university and teachers need to meet certain requirements to teach at the new campus.
|Description: The faculty will hold their degree from US or Western European (universities).|
The proposal is waiting for approval from the Chinese Ministry of Education later this fall.
