So we're headed in the right direction. We were hoping to head in this direction, so we're about where we expected to be for the year."

Missouri tax revenue for August is slightly up this year as compared to last August.

Wrap: State Budget Director Linda Luebbering says August revenue is higher than last year, and  2011 is expected to see more income than 2010.

Despite the increase, Lubbering says Missourians are still being cautious with their money.
