New House Speaker Tilley talks priorities

House Speaker Steve Tilley says there is a clear message from the people and it is supporting the Republican Party. Becky May has more from Jefferson City.

Wrap:More than 100 Republicans filled the press room after the closing of a House of Representatives Caucus meeting.

The next speaker of the Missouri House, Steve Tilley, says from the results of the polls Tuesday night show what the people want.

Description: "It wasn't an anti-incumbent environment. We didn't lose a single incumbent, but the Democrats lost 10 incumbents. So you tell me what the message is? We didn't lose an incumbent and they lost 10. I would argue that it was an anti-democratic environment."

Although Tilley says it was not,a Southeast Democratic Representative Joe Fallert begs to differ.

Tilley says the newly elected 59 Representatives are working on getting more jobs for people.
