Montee Calls Palin's Selection Offensive

The description of offensive came from State Auditor Susan Montee.

She's one of three women who hold statewide office in Missouri:

Description: Susan Montee said she found Palin's selection offensive.


Montee criticized Palin for citing former Democratic VP candidate Geraldine Ferraro and U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton.  The Missouri Auditor said Palin was on the opposite side of those two Democrats on key issues involving women.

On the other side, Missouri's one Republican statewide official Sarah Steelman immediately endorsed Palin's selection on the day of her selection citing her efforts against government corruption.

State Representative Jane Cunningham is excited that a woman is the GOP's nomination for Vice President.
