Description: "I mean, our unemployment rate is at a record high in Missouri. We see staggering numbers we have lost more jobs in the past year than all eight of our border states combined."

Wright said even though it has lowered from .2 percent since August he still wants Missouri residents to look at the bigger picture.

He said the only way to fix Missouri's problem of unemployment is to change the leadership on both the state and national level.

In August the Missouri unemployment rate was the highest its been since 1991.

A press release from Governor Blunt's office stated that in September 3,200 jobs were created.

Spokesperson for the Governor's office Jessica Robinson declined to elaborate on the Press Release.

October's unemployment rate has dropped .2 percentage points according to the Department of Economic Development.

Democratic Spokesperson Zac Wright is still unhappy with the current unemployment rate and hopes it will drop even further in the future.

Since Blunt has taken office in 2005 the total number of jobs created in Missouri has totaled 77,400.

Robinson offered no further comment except that she agrees with the release.
