Intro:
A Cole County judge rules that a renewable energy initiative will appear on the November ballot.
Brenda Martens (MARTINS) has more from Jefferson City.

The initiative calls for investor-owned utility companies to provide an increase in clean energy sources.
Sun, water, and wind energy could be where the power comes from.
According to the initiative, 1% is the maximum bill increase allowed.
But Warren Wood, President of the Missouri Energy Development Association, says it isn't easy to keep energy prices the same.

Description:
There's some concern about the rate of deployment, how many wind turbines you can add by in the time frame between now and 2021 to hit that objective without increasing rates.
If approved, the clean energy proposal would require a 15% clean energy increase by 2021.
