Biden Visits Jefferson City

Intro: Mending the economy, creating affordable health care and effectively ending the war were at the top of Senator Biden's agenda while rallying in Jefferson City.

Biden also said another major goal of the Obama administration is to reduce America's dependency on foreign oil. He said doing this would quote "kill three birds with one stone" those being strengthen national security, protecting the environment and improving the economy.

Description: Why are we pouring 350 billion dollars a year in the sands of Saudi Arabia and into the pockets of a guy in Venezuela who's not so stable? Pour the 350 billion dollars a year into the soils of the Midwest. Create jobs, create jobs.
 
These newly created jobs will not be outsourced, according to Biden.
 
Biden said an Obama administration would invest 15 billion dollars a year and 150 billion dollars over the next decade in renewable energy like wind, solar and bio fuels.

Description: Well let me tell you what Joe Biden thinks. Joe Biden thinks that anybody who takes millions of dollars offshore to avoid paying their fair share is unpatriotic. That is not patriotic. 100 million dollars offshore means you have to make up the difference.

Biden said no matter who were to win the presidential election in November, the first six to eight months would have to be dedicated to rebuilding the economy.
Biden said Obama would urge the Secretary of Treasury uses their power to ensure taxpayers are treated like investors, enabling them to get their money back. Reporting form the State Capitol, I'm Abigail Grimmett.
