Description: Forget what you hear from Missouri Right to Life because they lie! They misrepresent legislators. They misrepresent our votes. They misdirect the people of our state.

The bill was presented by fellow Republican, Senator Rob Mayer of Dexter. The bill also says that if a woman is coerced into having an abortion then the person who forced her is punishable under the law.

Republican Senator Rob Mayer of Dexter presented the bill and it faced some opposition along party lines.

Democratic Senator Chris Koster of Cass County called into question whether or not the bill compromised the relationship between parents and a pregnant child.

Actuality:  KOSTE1.WAV
Run Time: 00:14
Description: This bill very much invades the dialogue and the discussion between that parent who knows that the twelve year old girl has been victim of a rape or incest and this newly created twelve-year-old woman.

The bill would also require more information be presented to potential abortion patients including ultrasounds and alternative options.
