Description: "Our Spanish speaking Missourians come prepared whether they can understand a little English, or sometimes I have heard that they bring their children along because they're in school and they know English so we are able to communicate in an effective way. And again if they are having to take those tests they have to do it in an English manner so we can give them the license if they are able to pass all the tests and meet the document requirements." |
A vision, sign recognition, and written examination are all required to receive a driver's license.
Some licensing bureaus in St. Louis do have Bosnian speaking clerks to better assist customers, but the written portion of the driver's test must be completed in English.
From the State Capitol, I'm Courtney Cox.
