When the Missouri legislature passed the bridge reconstruction plan it had a proposed budget of 400 to 600 million dollars but was vague on where the money would come from.
Ken Warbritton, the project director of MoDOT's bridge improvement program,says MoDOT expects the federal government to pay 80 to 90 percent of the project's costs.
