Out of one hundred forty-seven voting representatives, only four rejected the two bills that would ultimately free anybody from defending their home from unwanted intruders.
These bills will move on to the Senate floor where they will undergo the same process as they did in the House Chamber.
The bills were amended to make them more broad so they would resemble other states.
Representative Kenneth Jones is the sponsor for one of the bills and he said it is as good as it is going to get.
