Missouri's Roy Blunt selected as new U.S. House majority leader

Missouri's Roy Blunt takes a big step up in the U.S. House.

Travis Thompson has more from the state Capitol.

Governor Matt Blunt and his top spokesperson were unavailable to talk about his father, Roy Blunt's promotion to U.S. House Majority Leader.

Jessica Robinson is one of the Governor's spokespersons.

Roy Blunt's new position comes after a Texas grand jury indicted Tom DeLay on conspiracy charges.

Roy Blunt served as Missouri's Secretary of State and most recently U.S. House majority whip.
