Limiting liability awards in Missouri just got one step closer to reality... but House opponents worry that step might not be the right one.

The bill that would limit liability awards in Missouri received first round approval in the House... meaning the House can no longer make changes.
But oppenents like Columbia Represenative Judy Baker say change is just what the bill needs to lower insurance rates for doctors.
Baker says the bill sympathetic to big business... and not specific enough to really help doctors.
The bill must now pass through the House before it goes on to the Senate.
