Missouri's Secretary of State forms a task force to remove deceased voters still registered on voter lists. Kristen Commander has more from Jeffferson City.
Secretary of State Robin Carnahan says the task force aims to provide a better election system by removing voters who have died or moved. The Department of Justice sued Carnahan to start this removal program. Carnahan is joined by officials from Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska to form the task force.
Carnahan says the task force is meeting for the frist time this week and is expected to have a plan by March.

Secretary of State Robin Carnahan has formed a task force to clean up Missouri's elections. The Department of Justice sued Carnahan to remove deceased voters and those who have moved out of Missouri. Carnahan says that wasn't the only reason the group formed.
Carnahan is joined by the secretary of state from Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska to form the task force.
