Legislation banning vaccines containing a mercury preservative hit a roadblock in the senate today (Thursday).
Missy Shelton reports.
The legislation would ban immunizations containing thimerasol, a mercury preservative beginning in 2006.
Supporters of the bill say they fear there may be a link between exposure to thimerasol and autism.
The bill got laid aside after Democratic Senator Harry Kennedy raised concerns.
All the physicians in the legislature support the bill.
