The University of Missouri is using private donations to help pay the salaries of some top administrators. Currently the names of these doners are not public record, but Republican Senator Sarah Steelman is sponsoring a bill to change that. The bill has been stalled in the senate for almost a month, but Steelman says she's not giving up on the idea.
She says taxpayers have the right to know who is funding the salaries of major decision makers in the University of Missouri system.
