A new survey confirms a flu vaccine shortage in Missouri hospitals. Bente Birkeland has more from Jefferson City.
The Missouri Hospital Association sent questionaires to 140 hospitals to find out the number of flu vaccines they received.
Becky Miller, a vice president at the Missouri Hospital Association, says preliminary survey results are back.
If Missouri does get more flu vaccines, Miller says the survey will help ensure those vaccines reach the neediest hospitals.

Becky Miller is a vice president at the Missouri Hospital Association. She says preliminary survey results show that hospitals got fewer vaccines than they ordered.
If Missouri does get more flu vaccines, Miller says the survey will help the state prioritize which hospitals should get them.
