Illinois is the first state in the country to help its citizens import low-cost prescription drugs.
Lieutenant Governor Joe Maxwell says Missouirans are in dire need of the same kind of help.
Missouri's Senior Rx program already helps seniors afford prescription drugs, but Maxwell says the program doesn't go far enough.

But Missouri's lieutenant governor says the GOP is keeping his state from doing the same.
