Senate leadership met with business leaders from St. Charles today. Matt Johnson tells us how the group presented transportation concerns to the senator.
More than thirty leaders from across St. Charles county met with transportation chairman Jon Dolan. Business leaders say MO-DOT needs to do a better job of adressing the states problems.
Seantor Dolan says the legislature is taking proactive steps to reform the state's highway issues.
"It means changing leadeship accountability and oversight...changing the systems like diversion of tax revenue that must be changed to regain the trust of the people...and then focusing in on the projects and programs that will make another revenue bill happen."
St. Charles area business men and women say they are satisfied with the legislature's proactive agenda.
From the state Capitol, I'm Matt Johnson.
