Missouri hunters had a record opening weekend, taking in more than 130,000 deer.
Bill Heatherly, a wildlife conservation supervisor at the Department of Conservation says desite the high take in, Missouri doesn't have a deer problem from an environmental perspective.
Heatherly says the unusually warm weather doesn't make deer more lethargic but it does bring out more hunters.
