Radio Story - The Missouri State Parks Reservation Center is run by a South Dakota firm. The center employs about 20 South Dakotans to reserve camp sites for Missouri State Parks.

Radio Story - With growing popularity and fatalities at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Missouri Water Patrol is understaffed.
7/22/2004:
Radio Story - One month in the state-sponsored medical malpractice program and only one doctor has been approved. Governor Holden ordered the program to help alleviate high medical malpractice premiums.

Radio Story - The nation's Amber Alert system will now use cell phones, pagers and the web to inform policy agencies and the public about abducted children. Missouri Highway Patrol plans on using the technology as an additional tool, but still keeping the current system.

Radio Story - Governor Holden signed almost 180 bills, but only 31 were signed in public. Senate President Pro Temp Peter Kinder says that number is very low compared to past years.

Radio Story - The federal government warns Missouri and the other 49 states that they must spend 2002 education grant money or lose it.
