The Missouri economy continues to rebound. Zack Ottenstein has more from Jefferson City.
The Missouri Department of Revenue reports the state's tax revenue is up nearly six percent from last year.
State Budget Director Linda Luebbering says the governor is waiting for more revenue estimates before deciding whether to release anymore withholdings.
Luebbering says despite the growth, it is unlikely the governor will release more withholdings.
Gov. Holden is expected to make his decision later this month.

The Missouri Dept. of Revenue reports the state economy continues to grow. Zack Ottenstein has more from Jefferson City.
The report says state revenues are up nearly six percent compared to last year.
The report comes weeks before the governor is expected to decided whether to release withholdings.
However Missouri Budget Director Linda Luebbering says state programs should not expect more withholdings to be released.
Luebbering says last year was a bad year for the state.
And paired with upcoming tax returns, which lower state revenue, Luebbering says the economic situation in Missouri is not as good as it looks on paper.
