Local gun store phones are ringing off the hook...now that have passed a new conceal and carry law.
Zack Ottenstein (Ah-Ten-stine) has the story.
The gun store closest to the state capitol is building a new training facility so customers can get necessary certification.
Owner and President Doug Alley says that his store's telephone is ringing a lot.
The store's new shooting range is scheduled to open October fourth.
Alley says that the new range should drastically change business.
The concealed weapons bill goes into effect one week later.

Local gun training schools are experiencing increased demand, after lawmakers have passed a new conceal and carry bill.
Zack Ottenstein (Ah-ten-stine) has the story.
Customers are keeping Green Valley Rifle Club's phone ringing off the hook.
Director of Operations John Skagg says they're taking about five calls every hour about certification classes.
Skagg says it's more calls than the club used to get before the passage of the bill.
And, he believes the club will see an increase in business.
The club has not scheduled any classes because there is no universal set of requirements from counties throughout the state.
The concealed weapons bill goes into effect October eleventh.
