Contents: We are prepared to act, but right now I'm not sure how credible these threats are.

Daniels says they have made a good start in preparing for bioterrorism, but still have a long way to go.

Last week, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was removed from state buildings and replaced with a private security agency.

Daniels says this was done because it saves money and is just as effective.

As the liason to the Director of Homeland Security, Daniels plans on meeting with Tom Ridge at the end of the month.
