The Cardinal's team president, Mark Lamping, spoke at the Capital today, lobbying for support of the proposed stadium. Ashley Hall has more in Jefferson City.
The Chamber of Commerce heard support for the Cardinal's proposed stadium from the team president, Mark Lamping.
In his speech, Lamping said that with enough lobbying, he thinks the proposal will win approval, even though right now the proposal doesn't have enough votes to pass legislature.
Chamber president, Dan Mehan, said he agrees with Lamping and is advocating for the bill's passage.
Mehan also said the Chamber supports the proposal because they believe there will be long-term benefits for Missouri.
