Blunt also admits he recently disussed these plans with U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof. Hulshof has also been rumored as a possible Republican candidate in 2004. Secretary of State Matt Blunt says he's thinking about running for Governor in 2004.
Blunt also admits he recently met with U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof on the issue. Hulshof, a Republican from the 9th district, has also been rumored as a possible candidate for the 2004 Governor's race. But Blunt denied that their meeting was meant to sort out which Missouri Republican would run:
