A bill might give minority education students more scholarship money

The House may pass a bill that will increase scholarships for prospective special education teachers. Jenny Hoff has more from the State Capitol.

St. Louis Representative Quincy Troupe supports a bill that will give an increased scholarship to minority students who major in special education.

The bill would raise the current scholarship offered to teachers from $3000 to $6000.

Contents: Troupe says the whole state of Missouri is in need of special education teachers and this is one step of helping the problem.
