According to the information from the Division of Tourism, Missouri has hosted 330,000 international tourist so far in 2001.
From now on, however, the number is expected to sink.
Tourism business will also suffer from the economic situation of other businesses around the nation - number of laid-off personell will significantly affect the tourism business.
Over the coming hollidays Missouri's tourism business is expecting only state residents and the people living in one-day driving distance from the state.

If the United State's economic situation after the terrorist attacks results in more lay-offs in businesses, Missouri Tourism Devision says it will experience a great decline of tourists during the upcoming holidays.
Tourism Devision spokeswoman Wanda Seeney says, economic situation of the businesses in the nation will result in significant decrease of revenue from tourism business.
The tourists expected to visit Missouri in the near future are mostly the people living within one-day driving distance from the state.
More than 300,000 people from all over the world visited Missouri so far this year.
Seeney says, the number is expected to decline in the next year.
