Planned Parenthood will close its Fulton clinic

Planned Parenthood is forced to close its doors in Fulton.

The clinic will shut down at the end of October and its services will be consolidated into the Jefferson City clinic.

Planned Parenthood lost a grant from the state of Missouri and has had to cut down on its operation of nine clinics around the state.

The President and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri, Peter Brownlie, says they deeply regret having to close a clinic.

Planned Parenthood of Jefferson City plans on extending their hours to handle the influx of patients.
