The Kansas Governor's decision to block all mail from entering the capitol is not the way Governor Holden's office will deal with the threat of anthrax.
Kellie Applen has the story in Jefferson City.
Anthrax spores discovered in New York Governor's George Pataki's office prompted Kansas Gov. Bill Graves to halt all incoming mail for one day while Governor Holden's office continued to receive mail.
Spokesman for Governor Holden's office, Jerry Nachtigal said that he didn't want to go that route.
Nachtigal said there have been some changes to mail procedures in the governor's office as a result of the anthrax scare.
One person has been assigned to open all of the office staff's mail in a secure room across the hall from the governor's office.
