St. Louis Senator Wayne Goode says the commission would consist of five members of the general assembly and six Governor appointees.

Contents: Goode says we should bring people into the Capitol to get to know its history and importance.

The commission would recommend ideas for restoring and preserving the Capitol.

Goode also says the commission would attempt to follow through with the Capitol's original construction plans, which fell short on funding.

He says the bill has yet to meet any opposition.
