JEFFERSON CITY - More than one million Missouri voters are expected to participate in the Super Tuesday presidential primary, state officials said.

Bekki Cook, the secretary of state, estimates about one million Missourians will go to the polls between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Each will choose a ballot from the Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, Reform or Constitution Party.

On the GOP ticket, voters can choose from among: Texas Gov. George W. Bush, Arizona Sen. John McCain, and former Ambassador Alan Keyes and Lawrence Harnung of Kansas. Steve Forbes, Gary Bauer, and Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch have dropped out of the race but remain on the preprinted ballots.

From the Democratic slate, voters can choose from among: Vice President Al Gore Jr., former New Jersey Sen. Bill Bradley, Lyndon LaRouche of Virginia and Pat Price of Missouri.

The Reform Party is fielding three candidates: Charles Collins of Georgia, John Hagelin of Iowa and Pat Buchanan of Virginia.

The Libertarian Party also offers three candidates: Harry Browne of Tennessee, David Hollist of California and Larry Hines of California.

One person, Howard Phillips of Virginia, will be on the Constitution Party ticket.

Voters can also select uncommitted delegates to the respective party conventions.
