Representative Vicky Hartzler propsed a bill that would punish careless and imprudent drivers with suspended or revoked licenses.
Mothers of car accident victims gave emotional testimonies about their children who were killed by carless drivers.
They said that sometimes drug abuse and drunken driving cannot be proven and this bill would ensure that justice would be served for victims of imprudent drivers.
The bill would be known as Stacey's bill. It is named after Stacey Cox, a teenager that was killed on Missouri roads by a careless driver. From the State Capitol, I'm Jessica Carter.
