Profiling bill headed to the House

A "racial profiling" bill was given final approval by Missouri's Senate today/Tuesday. Aaron Cummins has the story from Jefferson City--

The bill requires police officers to record the race of every person they stop.

Bill sponsor Wayne Goode says the bill won't stop cops from doing their job.

The bill passed by a 23-9 margin. Now on its way to House for further debate.

The bill would require cops to record the race of every driver they stop along with the reason for the stop.

But, the bill only covers people of African, Asian, Hispanic, or Native American descent.

Senator Marvin Singleton says that's not fair.
