Missouri voters will get the chance to vote on a campaign finance reform issue this November. Missy Shelton is in Jefferson City with the story.
The group Missouri Voters for Fair Elections handed in more than one hundred and eight thousand signatures.
Those signatures means Missouri voters will be asked to approve the use of state money for campaigns where candidates have agreed to reject all other contributions.
Ben Senturia is a member of the steering committee that headed up this effort.
The Missouri Chamber of Commerce opposes the ballot issue saying taxpayers shouldn't be forced to support political campaigns.
