The Carnahan-Ashcroft race remains one of the most high profile Senate races in the country, but Jean Carnahan is taking a low profile stance as Election Day approaches.
Erin Guyer has more from Jefferson City.
Sheryl Crow...Kevin Kline...Don Henley...but Jean Carnahan may not be among those at a benefit concert in St. Louis this Friday. After making a commitment to fill the Senate seat if her husband is elected, Jean Carnahan has remained in mourning with her family. Sara Howard of the Carnahan for Senate staff says the campaign is dealing with the issue of public appearances one day at a time.
Howard added that Mrs. Carnahan may make an appearance as the race proceeds, but no appearances have been scheduled.
From the State Capitol, I'm Erin Guyer.
