Re-elected Speaker of the House Steve Gaw called on fellow legislators to take caution in introducing tax cuts during the upcoming legislative session in his acceptance speech as speaker Wednesday.
Gaw told members of the Missouri house that while the state has excess revenue, it is important to make sure important services are not cut.
Republicans, who have been calling for the cuts, unveiled in their agenda a plan to reduce taxes by $330 million.
