Missouri Gubenatorial candidate and U.S. Congressman Jim Talent says that a candidate's personal life should only be scruntinzed if it affects his or her ability in office. On the same note, Talent says he won't answer questions in his upcoming campaign regarding his personal life that don't deal with public policy.
Talent says the voters will be rational when making their decisions.
GOP candidate Talent and Democratic candidate Bob Holden are front-runners in the year 2000 election for Missouri Governor. Talent says he has never used illegal drugs.
