Officials say fewer deer will be out this weekend due to the abnormally warm fall. But Missouri Conservation Department spokesman Lonnie Hansen says hunters shouldn't worry too much about getting enough game.

Contents: This weekend there will be so many hunters, they'll push the deer around. In a couple of weeks, they may have more trouble finding enough game if it stays this warm.

Hansen says deer already have their winter coats, so they sit in the shade. This makes it harder for hunters who rely on the deer's movement to hunt them. From the state capitol, I'm Stacy Covitz.

Hunters will have more difficulty than usual finding deer to hunt due to the abnormally warm weather. Missouri Conservation Department spokesman Lonnie Hansen says the deer already have their winter coats, so they're too hot to move around.

Contents: Hunters rely on deer to come to them. If they're in a tree stand, for example, they need deer to leave their bedding and come to the tree. When they're not leaving their bedding they're much less visible.
