Banks' guilty plea is drawing criticism from some Republican lawmakers. Today he says he takes sole responsibility for pleading guilty to filing a false tax return.
Republican House Leader Delbert Scott says no elected official is above the law.
Banks declined to comment on the allegations. Once a sentence is imposed, Banks will lose his Senate seat.
