Missouri legislators failed to pass welfare reform laws that would extend benefits beyond the new federal limits. Susan Batt reports from the state capital.
With four minutes left in this year's legislative session, the House rejected propsed welfare reforms - considered one of the major issues of the year.
The senate had already approved the new guidelines, but the House had never even discussed the issue.

Both Democrats and Republicans say they will try again next year.
From the state capital, I'm Susan Batt.
