If you're like the average Jefferson and St.Louis County resident, then your water bill will go up about $9 next year.

The St.Louis Water Company serves over 300,000 customers in Jefferson and St.Louis County. If they serve you, then your water bill will be going up.
Effective next Tuesday, the Public Service Commission has approved a rate increase for the St. Louis Water Company.
Kevin Kelly is a spokesman for the Public Service Commission.
The St. Louis Water Company initially sought to increase it's annual revenues by $8.2 million. An agreement was finally reached for an increase of about $5 million less.
