A week after legislators rejected giving themselves a pay raise, a senate committee heard a bill suggesting increasing their daily allowance. Rebecca Rausch has the story from Jefferson City...
A bill is being considered that would increase the legislature's per diem from 35 dollars to 86 dollars.
The bill met little opposition from the senate judiciary committee, even business lobbiest Curtis Long supports the bill.
The proposed increase is the same amount of money the federal government gives its employees in Jefferson City.
