California controversy comes to Missouri

The California marijuana controversy came to the Missouri legislature today. Susan Batt has the story.

Tuesday afternoon Missouri representatives heard testimony in favor of making marijuana legal for medical purposes.

Sheila Dundon is a registered nurse in Columbia and works with cancer patients who smoke marijuana.

No one spoke before the House committee to oppose the bill.

Missouri's proposed measure is similar to the controversial California legislation opposed by the Clinton administration.
