Hera's Casino and Station Casino both provide gambling entertainment in St. Louis and Kansas City.
But as the industry tries to unite, the two casinos clash on one fundamental point -- the five-hundred dollar loss limit.
Hera's wants to abandon the removal of the limit this year, but Station plans on sticking with the proposal.
Columbia Senator Ken Jacob serves on the Gaming and Wagering Joint Committee which heard testimony from both sides.
C-E-O for Hera's, Phil Satre, said he will focus on changing boarding times and save the cost limit for next year.
