Tax Cut Passes

The House crossed party lines and unanimously passed to reduce the food sales tax.

Republicans and Democrats alike voted yes to cut the food sales tax... but not without some debate.

Representative Jim Murphy brought milk and orange juice into the chamber to prove his point.

Contents: "Let's not have a mother go to the store and be told she can't take home milk for her children b/c she doesn't have enough sales tax to satisfy the glutunous apetite of govermnent."

The House has one more vote before the bill heads to the Senate.
