Party Cove Safety a Concern

Another proposal in the wake of banning the party cove proposes safety as the number one concern. Sarah Coleman has the story from Jefferson City.

The party cove... a place at the Lake of the Ozarks that party-ers tie hundreds of boats together.

A bill proposed to the Missouri house motor vehicle committee would ban the party cove for safety reasons.

Proponents of the bill say 500 boats in one cove is a problem in the case of an emergency.
