The drive for new speed limits in Missouri is no longer stalled in the Senate. Brian Higgins has the story from the Capitol.
After five hours of filibustering by Senator Harold Caskey, the Senate finally reached an agreement.
They decided to send the bill back to a joint House and Senate Committee. Senator Danny Staples, the bill's sponsor, made a compromise with Caskey.
Not all members of the Senate were pleased with the political maneuvering of Senator Caskey, but for now, the bill is out of their hands.
Later today, the House will decide what to do with the speed limit bill.
