Southwest Missouri congressman Ike Skelton, and President Truman's daughter, Margaret Truman Daniel, will co-chair the committee to raise money for the carrier's launching ceremony. The committee will finance everything from the champagne bottle smashed against the bow, to the admiral's quarters where foreign dignitaries will be entertained.
