The Senate voted to give a tax break on donations to domestic violence shelters. Jack Dolan has the story from Jefferson City.
Both the House and the senate have now voted in support of the "safe haven" tax break. But both houses have attached the idea to tax bills that have yet to be approved. The amendment's senate sponsor, Ted House from St. Charles, says he thinks it's a concept most legislators agree with.
